  24.      THE STORY SO FAR

  26.  Once-upon-a-time there was a quiet city somewhere in Cartoonland. This was
  27.  home to Roy Fat and his wife. They lived in a small house near the city
  28.  border. Roy was an inventor and a restaurant owner.
  29.  
  30.  
  31.  Every morning he would get up at 9am, eat nine scrambled eggs for breakfast
  32.  and go to his secret lab to work on his useful (and more than often useless)
  33.  inventions.
  34.  Roy loved his food and his stomach! Therefore all his inventions were based
  35.  on food! Some examples of his creatibe genius - Food Inventing Processor 
  36.  (FIP), Ice Warning Gadget (IWAG) and many other not-so-useful gadgets.
  37.  
  38.  But his most useful - and by far the most succesful - invention was....
  39.  .. THE FOOD DUPLICATOR! With this wonder of modern technology he could make
  40.  a copy of any food you processed through the machine (insert a pizza and out
  41.  come TWO pizza's!). No wonder Roy's stomach was rather sizeable, to say the
  42.  least! But that wasn't the only feature the FOOD DUPLICATOR possessed; using
  43.  a 'flavouring processor algorithm' the machine actually duplicated tasty,
  44.  delicious food even when the food the machine was fed with, wasn't very good
  45.  itself....and with the stored data THE FOOD DUPLICATOR could reproduce any
  46.  food it had previously duplicated!

  48.  No wonder Roy Fat's restaurant was very famous worldwide, with lots of people 
  49.  coming from all the corners of Cartoonland to eat in the 'Stomach Building
  50.  Centre', as Roy's restaurant was called
  51.  
  52.  But there were also some people who didn't care for Roy's success story. A
  53.  multi-national company called Thindicate inc. that happened to be based in
  54.  Roy's home town, hated Roy Fat for his ivention more than any others. 
  55.  Thindicate had a monopoly in the food market, delivering to all the markets,
  56.  shops and restaurants. But since the big opening of the 'Stomach Building
  57.  Centre', businesswas going down the hill for Thindicate. Ted Thinsin, the
  58.  managing director and evil mind behind Thindicate Inc. tried evrything to get
  59.  to get this new and hugely successful competition wiped off the map. He tried
  60.  to convince Roy to sell the duplicator to Thindicate to mass-produce it, so
  61.  the whole world could enjoy the unbelievable taste. Roy decided to go into
  62.  business with Ted, but in the last minute, he got a tip from Ted's secretary
  63.  that Thindicate wanted to destroy the duplicator to regain the monopoly!

  65.  Ted was absolutely furious when Roy didn't hand over THE FOOD DUPLICATOR!
  66.  Very, very furious....

  68.  The wicked game started...

  71.                                INSTRUCTIONS

  74.  Use joystick in port 2. Press the button to fire weapons and to change weapons
  75.  pull the joystick down and switch them by pressing the button while in this
  76.  position. Alternatively use the 'SPACE' bar to change from one to another.

  78.  THE JUMP
  79.  
  80.  Throw your weight about to squash enemies out of existence. Jump as usual and
  81.  pull the joystick down before landing. You will come splashing down on enemies 
  82.  in a way they will never forget!

  84.  THE BELLY BUTT

  86.  Select the belly butt icon from your possible moves and swing that belly by
  87.  pressing the joystick button. You have unlimited belly butts at your disposal
  88.  (lucky you aren't as thin as a broomstick!).

  90.  THE BELCH

  92.  Power from the deeper places! This ones powerful, so use with care! Picking
  93.  up the extra belch icons available in some levels will give you enough to
  94.  fuel another three burps!

  96.  THE POWER CARROT

  98.  Carrots dont look nice, dont taste particulary good and they aren't packed
  99.  with calories... so what are they for??? Weapons! Throw them at your enemies
  100.  and pick up 5 extras with the special icon.

  102.  THE POISONOUS MUSHROOM!

  104.  Another powerful one. Drop it on enemies and away they go!.

  106.  THINGS TO REMEMBER:
  107.  
  108.  The roast chicken (doesn't it look tasty!) represents the energy - resp.
  109.  calorie - level in Fatman. Keep a good eye on it! Pick up the roast chicken
  110.  on some of the levels for an extra calorie dose!
  111.  
  112.  Press P for pause. This is only to be used when you want to go off and raid
  113.  the refrigerator!
  114.  
  115.  And last but not least, keep your eyes open for hidden parts, cheats, short 
  116.  cuts and secret rooms packed with goodies!!!!!!
